26 DAYS!!!!!

Wow....I haven't written on here in a while. My bad! A lot to catch up on.

School has been going well. I currently have 2 A's, 2 B's, and 1 C. Stupid Physical Science. I don't like that class at all. It is super confusing. My other classes are going well. I am really happy to have a B in calculus. I knew that was going to be my hardest class going into the semester, and I am handling it well!

Well a few weekends ago Alli came up here to visit. We had a lot of fun. We hung out and went to the football game where I bought her friend Jeff around $15 of food! I guess that is the price you gotta pay to hang with the best.

We are HOT!!!!



Last weekend I went down to the Seacliff canoe trip by the Hoover Dam. Lindsay Ward and I drove together....we are pretty fun. haha. I got to see my parents and sister. I had not seen my parents in 2 months! That is a really long time. The canoe trip was fun. We canoed A LOT and did some fun hiking. Tua and I were canoe partners on the 2nd day and we had to pull a lot of weight! It was fun to see people I hadn't seen in a while too. I talked with Kim (aka my 2nd mom). She is pretty funny and makes me laugh quite frequently. :]

I only have 26 days until I go home for Thanksgiving. I am SUPER excited to see my friends that I miss. I can't wait to play some football also. I am really hoping we play tackle because flag and 2-hand touch are for pansies.

General Conference

On Saturday, I went to the Priesthood session of General Conference in Salt Lake City. I went with 2 guys on my floor and Blackie. It was amazing to be in the Conference Center with all of the Apostles and the Prophet of the Lord. The Spirit was so strong. That was one experience I will never forget.



Last week I found out that I will be going on the Singles Ward canoe trip at the end of this month. I am pretty excited for that. It should be a lot of fun. I get to see my parents!

This morning I said goodbye to Adam Parker. He stayed with me over the weekend. He reports to the MTC in 9 days. I am so excited for him. He is going to be such a great missionary. We stayed up until around 2:30 last night just talking about old times. It was fun to remember all of the times we have spent together growing up, and realizing how close we have become.

Today we got our grades on our Calculus test. I was extremely scared because our teacher said our class average was 60. When I received my test back, I looked, and to my astonishment I got a 78!!!! I was, and still am, soooooooooooo excited!

Friends

I haven't posted in a week or so. Sorry about that. Well the past week has been pretty stressful. I took 2 tests, one in Physical Science and on in Calculus. I didn't do as well as I wanted, but I know that I tried my hardest, and I will try to do better next time.

BYU has moved up to #7 in the nation in football. I am super excited about that. Things are looking very promising.

I am starting to become close friends with two guys on my floor. Their names are Danny and Kenny. They were in the same ward back in Alabama. They are a lot of fun. We continually find ourselves laughing at the most random things. They may come out for Thanksgiving, which will mean LOTS of messing around with people. HAHA.

I am excited for this weekend. Adam Parker is coming up and will be staying in my dorm for 2 nights. Emily Kendrick is also coming up. It will be really good to see some friends from back home that I miss so dearly. This weekend my dad also got me 4 tickets to the Priesthood Session of General Conference. I am super excited. I have never been to a session of conference in the Conference Center before. I am taking 2 guys on my floor, and Blackie Schaap. It should be a lot of fun.

This week should be a blast....

Getting Better

This weekend is starting to get better. The game yesterday was a lot of fun. I sat with Anthony and Kelly, two of my sister's friends. We were 22 rows up behind the south goalpost. The game was sick. BYU beat Wyoming 44-0. That is their 2nd shutout in a row. Is that the BCS I can hear????

After the game I went to Legends Grille with Lindsay Ward. It was a lot of fun. The food there is really good. We had a pretty good time talking and watching all the football highlights from the day.

After that I came back to the dorm and went and played volleyball at the sand courts next to Helaman Halls with some guys on my floor. We had fun. It was nice to get out there and play since I haven't played for a while. We came back to the dorms and then just hung out and went to bed.

Today I had church, which was pretty good. When church was over, I came back to the dorms and did some homework and have just been hanging around with all the guys. I have been keeping myself busy, which is good because it keeps my mind off of things. I don't want to go to classes tomorrow!

Downhill

So I thought that hopefully the weekend would start to make me feel better. So far it is Friday night and I am feeling as bad as ever.

Life sucks.

Tough Week

This week has been really tough. Just a lot of crap going on that I shouldn't worry about, but I am. I hate being one of those types of people who always has to be nice to someone and expects people to be nice in return. It NEVER happens.

One other thing I hate: deception. I hate being deceived into believing something that really is not true....like friendships.

I hope this weekend is good, because I am pretty down right now.

Weekend with the Sisters

This weekend my sisters and Romnila came up to watch the UCLA game and hang out with me. We had a blast! On Thursday night, Heather Evans and I drove up to the airport in Salt Lake to pick up Alli and Milla. I was so happy, because Milla brought me Polynesian music that I had been missing so much while I have been up here at BYU. We didn't get back til around midnight and I was beat.

The next day on Friday, I went to class and then Alli and I went out to lunch and went and saw her old teacher that she was the TA for. Later that day I went with Milla to the Schaap's house in Highland. Milla and I got "lost" on the way there. She said she knew how to get there, so I believed her, but we ended up going in the middle of nowhere. We eventually arrived at their house though. I hadn't been there for 2 years, so it was fun to go there and catch up on old times with Blackie and his family. After that, Milla and I went to the airport again to pick up my other sister Heather.

Saturday was a really fun day. Alli, Heather, Jennifer, her fiance, Tyler, and I all went to Kneader's for breakfast. The food was great. After, Heather and I went and picked up Milla and went to Anthony's house for a pregame party before the big BYU vs. UCLA game. The game was a blast. BYU absolutely destroyed them 59-0. After the game we went to Bajio's for dinner, and then headed over to the BYU soccer game.

Only Heather, Milla, and I went to the soccer game, but Heather's friend Amanda and her brother Tyler came with us. We sat with Bro. and Sis. Draeger. They are the best. We had so much fun, and BYU ended up winning 2-0. I can't wait until Friday when BYU has another home soccer game and I get to hang out with Bro. and Sis. Draeger again!

We all went to the BYU Creamery after the soccer game. The ice cream there is soooooo good. After that, Heather and Alli dropped me off at my dorm and I said bye to Heather.

Today, Alli and Milla came to my sacrament meeting, and then they left for home. I got a calling today: FHE co-chairperson of FHE groups 1-6. I am looking forward to it.

This weekend was a blast! Only 72 days until I come home for Thanksgiving.
